What and When do I Eat Post Workout?
Jan 04, 2022I feel I am always telling my newer clients the importance of post workout nourishment!
✨ When wanting to get the most out of your workout it is so important to fuel your body right and that means consuming protein and carbs to replenish your glycogen stores for your next workout and to help fuel your muscles! Ideally that should be done within 30 minutes of your workout.
✨ Consuming protein and carbs post workout is also so important when you are trying to build muscle. To get the most out of my workouts, I make sure to fuel my body well after every weight training workout! (As for the supplements I use, that’s another conversation but feel free to reach out to me with any questions).
✨ I always say why put in all the work and then not reap the benefits by putting in the proper nutrition to help complement the hard work and get the results?!
✨ I have had clients that have worked with other trainers in the past and worked out hard but did not get the results they have with me because of the changes in nutrition that we made… and consequently the body responds positively with new muscle gains!
